Special Guest at the 1st China (Huizhou) International UAV Application Forum

On the morning of Sunday 23 June 2019, the 1st China (Huizhou) International UAV Application and Development Forum was held in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, and Association President Jiang Feng attended as a special guest.

Overview

Organised by the Huizhou UAV Application Association under the theme "Altitude defines vision, technology creates the future", the forum brought together more than 50 drone experts and industry representatives from 16 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore and Turkey. Including Huizhou government departments, industry bodies, media and companies, more than 300 people took part.

Programme

• Welcome address by Zou Dawen, President of the Huizhou UAV Application Association
• Remarks by Yang Jincai, Chairman of the World UAV Federation and President of the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association
• Keynote on counter-drone technology by Tao Junsheng, former head of the Ministry of Public Security's police aviation office
• Talks by experts from Malaysia, Turkey and Ukraine and academics from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and others on autonomous flight, drone traffic management and aviation education
• Display of drones for agriculture, disaster relief, delivery, security, power-line inspection and surveying

Hopes for the Association

In an interview, Zou Dawen said the forum had brought Huizhou's drone industry together, widened its applications and raised the city's international profile. He expressed hope that the Association would continue to promote Huizhou's drone industry in Japan and build a new area of growth in Japan-China technology exchange.
